Great place for small meetings. The food is good and reasonably priced. I love the atmosphere, and it is quiet during the day.
First impression, cute aesthetic. Lots of beautiful greenery with plants and splashes of color here and there I love all the dainty light fixtures and the Sputnik chandelier when you walk in. It’s a small space with an open floor set up. Food: The breakfast tacos were so yummy. Super fluffy eggs with yummy sausage. The potato taco was also delish. Coffee: Chocolate covered strawberry cold brew coffee was so yum. Also, seasonal so get here expeditiously if you don’t want to miss it. They also have boozy breakfast drinks. Service: So helpful. They gave great suggestions and had awesome content knowledge of the menu. Consensus: Definitely pop in ! It’s a laid back spot with a muted presence but superb execution. I also love alematic. Pop in for a beer!
Bside is the best! The drinks and food are so good and they host cool events like plant swaps that make it such a fun hangout. We rented the space for a family party, and it was perfect! Super cozy and laid-back. Plus, having the brewery next door is such a great combo. Whether you’re stopping by for coffee or planning a get-together, Bside is where it’s at!
Fantastic salted caramel latte (all syrups proudly made in house!)! For brunch I ordered the Breakfast Burger and it was huge and did not disappoint. Sloppy and messy but full of flavor and toppings, served with chips.
First off I can’t believe at the time of this review this place has anything less than 5 stars! The B side is the new hidden gem of the brick city! I finally got around to having a breakfast date with the wifey! I ordered the Carmel apple chai, she has a vanilla latte. Both were outstanding. Staff was friendly and patient and gave us great recommendations! I ordered the tater tot hash, eggs were cooke perfect, and the gravy was a 9/10! My wife had the Carmel apple stuffed French toast. It was more like desert than breakfast(which is what she likes 😀) overall this place is a 10/10!
Walked into this cafe mainly to escape the heat outside and ended up staying almost the whole evening. The iced coffee was refreshing without tasting watered down, and the chicken pasta had a nice smoky flavor. Staff checked on tables without hovering too much. Really comfortable place to relax after a stressful day.
I am a barista myself at another coffee establishment and I highly recommend going here for your coffee and any other café drinks. I ordered a hot cranberry-orange chai and it is delicious. Most large chain coffee shops buy premade coffee product and sauces with artificial flavors and dyes, and the first thing I noticed is that they don't do this, instead they take the time to make their sauces/flavorings and coffee products in house from real ingredients. I can tell they prioritize quality!
Coffee shop on the "b-side" of a bar - great concept that you can move back and forth between the two places. You order at the bar, get your drinks and the kitchen serves up on the coffee side. This is slightly higher-end of the coffee shop side in that they have a good menu for things to eat - not just straight up pastries. The waffle selection was good and they also have breakfast tacos. Menu also includes some kid-sized items. Good amount of seating - a comfier spot up front and tables throughout that are moveable. There was a group of about eight trickling in as we were leaving and they had more than enough room. The bar environment is very artsy but the coffee side is very industrial looking with a couple of local artists things displayed.
I have been on a search for the best biscuits and gravy in the greater Dayton area for a while now and this is where you will find them. The coffee is good. Although you may have a little bit of a wait, you have to understand that this place is a scratch kitchen and great food takes time. Keep up the good work!👏
I came to B-side coffee bar with a buddy and got a hot latte made by Sienna. She was facing a rush but did a great job getting everyone’s order taken care of. She even took time to make some local recommendations for other cool places to see. I’m not from around here, so that was very helpful. If management sees this review, consider it a positive experience created by Sienna for a happy customer.
